my son lj who just turned 8 sent an e-mail because he was upset. All he wanted was to see kobe play at the staple center. this was all he wanted for his birthday and we were fortunate to buy tickets from someone (over $200 each) for him, his best friend and mom, and kobe didn’t show up.
i think this is bad sportsmanship to not even show up…a disappointed mom.
